"My journey with Silverado Lake Zurich lasted for over two years.  My mom started with flex care and progressed to full-time care.  Throughout this time, the Silverado team was easily available and provided excellent suggestions, advice and comfort to me.

But the greatest gift they gave me and my loved one was RESPECT.  Silverado recognizes the value of the human spirit, understand someone's needs and wishes---and treats that person accordingly.

My mother blossomed while she lived at Silverado Lake Zurich.  She became more active and social in their warm, home-like atmosphere, and we were able to reduce some of her medications.  I also participated in many enriching outings and activities with my mother, creating special memories I will always cherish.

I believe Silverado is a leader in memory care.  Because they utilize a dementia care certification program, you can be assured that their associates have a high level of expertise in how to care for your loved one.  The care my mother received was exceptional.

It was also easy for me to develop relationships with Silverado's dedicated associates. From caregivers, to engagement leaders, to facility personnel, Silverado instills compassion and respect in their associates.

Even though my mom has been gone over a year, I still maintain a relationship with Silverado Lake Zurich and periodically visit residents.  This alone is testimony to the welcoming and caring environment they cultivate and offer.

I heard it many times--and I know they truly feel in their hearts--that 'it is a privilege to care for your loved one.  Thank you for allowing us to do that.'"
