A gorgeous day and beautiful setting makes for a great day with families, volunteers and associates.

On October 25, 2014, Silverado North Houston Hospice associates, volunteers and bereaved families got together to see familiar faces, share memories, eat BBQ, listen to live music by the b-Flats and laugh!  Some even participated in the annual walk/run!  The event was held at Mercer Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. It was a pleasure to see how everyone mingled and openly voiced what a great time they had. One family member eveb said, "We'll see you next year" as they left for home.

In hospice, families, volunteers, and associates, share a strong bond.  After losing their loved one, sometimes a void can become present for everyone involved. As part of our H.U.G. (hold, uplift, gather) program we have started this annual get together. This is more than a memorial, it is a chance for families to form lasting bonds. It has proved to be a joy for everyone.
