A "Budding" Partnership! - HUG Program

3/21/2014
Location : North Houston

For people who live in personal care homes, skilled nursing facilities, or senior living centers, caregivers are sometimes the only family for these residents. A strong bond is formed that doesn't just go away when a resident passes. Caregivers grieve too.

With this thought, Pam Davis, owner of Always in Bloom Floral, and Mikel Roberts, floral designer, are partnering with Lueata Evenson of Silverado Hospice to let caregivers know they are thought of also at the sad time of a resident's death. Mikel puts together an arrangement of a single rose with a thoughtful card and Lueata hand delivers these floral arrangements to "homes".

Pam and Mikel hold Silverado’s mission close to their hearts and donate their time and resources because they have a genuine passion for helping others and giving back to the community. This has been a very rewarding experience for everyone involved!

A special thanks goes out to Pam and Mikel of Always in Bloom Floral for truly caring!

Mikel
