Silverado Hospice: Making a Difference in the Community

9/24/2013
Location : South Houston Hospice

In service to our community, the Houston South office of Silverado Hospice has launched a new Community outreach Program. Its purpose is to provide support and education on a variety of healthcare-related topics.

Our Speakers Bureau facilitates presentations with helpful information on caring for elderly parents, dealing with a loved one's memory loss, grief support, understanding hospice and how it can help, etc. We have wonderful volunteers powering the project, and we invite you to join this team.

Do you have a gift for public speaking? Do you enjoy teaching? Are you interested in helping with support groups? If you have a passion for helping others, we have a place for you.

And if working in the spotlight is not for you, we can offer other opportunities for you to make a difference in someone's life. Please consider joining us as we serve our patients, their families, and the community.

To learn more, contact Carmella Lucero, Bereavement and Community Outreach Coordinator at 218-565-2900 or clucero@silveradohospice.com
